Currently there are two ways to apply for a visa for Vietnam.
An electronic visa (e-visa) can be applied for a single or multiple entry. It is mandatory that you enter and exit via a specific border crossing published by the Vietnamese authorities. You can find the list of the e-Visa approved border crossings HERE.
The visa can be issued for a maximum validity of 90 days.
The processing time by the Vietnamese authorities is approximately 1 week (excluding public holidays).
The visa will be stamped in your passport and is valid for all border crossings. It can be applied for a single or multiple entry.
The validity of the visa is issued by the Vietnamese consulate exactly according to the travel dates mentioned in your flight ticket or according to the dates of your approval letter.
The processing time at the consulate in Vienna is approx. 2 weeks (excluding public holidays).
Customer number: if you have a customer number at OEVKG (e.g. companies/travel agencies), please enter it in the field “customer number”.
First steps:
1) Register: Register once with your email address at https://oevkg.at/en/clients/new and confirm your OEVKG registration e-mail.
2) Log-In: Click on the URL https://oevkg.at/en or copy the link into a browser and log in with the e-mail address and password that you provided during registration.
