There are currently two ways to apply for a visa for Vietnam.

1. ELECTRONIC VISA:

The electronic visa can be applied for a single or multiple entry. The prerequisite for this is that you enter and exit via a specific border crossing published by the Vietnamese authorities. The list of all border crossings permitted for e-visas can be found HERE.

The visa can be issued for a validity of max. 90 days.

The processing time by the Vietnamese authorities is approx. 1 week (excluding public holidays)

2nd VISA IN PASSPORT - issued by the embassy in Vienna:

The visa in the passport is valid for all border crossings and can be applied for a single or multiple entry.

The validity of the visa is issued by the Vietnamese consulate exactly according to the travel data in the flight ticket or the data in the approval letter.

The processing time at the consulate in Vienna is approx. 2 weeks (excluding public holidays)

How can you apply for/book your visa?

Customer number: If you have a customer number with ÖVKG (e.g. companies/travel agencies), please enter this in the "Customer number" field.

First steps:

1)Register: Register once with your email address at https://oevkg.at/de/clients/new and confirm ÖVKG registration email.

2) Log in: Click on the URL www.oevkg.at or copy the link into a browser and log in with the e-mail address and password you provided during registration.

• Completion of visa applications in German
• Assignment of a personal visa advisor who will support you after your application
• Full transparency, including e-mail information on the status of the visa application
• All fees are displayed transparently before you place your fee-based order
