29/09/2021 00:00

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

After months of standstill, travel is slowly picking up speed again.

During this time, a lot has happened at the embassies and also at the ÖVKG.

Among other things, the ÖVKG has used the time to further develop the online booking portal for you.

For example, we have…

  • … implemented our new products „A1 certificate“ and „EU declarations“ fully automatically
  • … 2-factor authentication (optional) integrated for better protection of your login
  • … the option to automatically store special company data/data of the traveler behind your customer number (e.g. employer, client, etc.)
  • … the release of fully booked orders to third parties incl. document upload (e.g. in the case of a vacation replacement) is programmed

You are not yet familiar with the ÖVKG booking portal or the services of ÖVKG or have not used it for a long time due to the pandemic?

I would like to invite you to a free ONLINE SEMINAR to give you an insight/overview of the current service portfolio and the online portal of ÖVKG.

Entering Russia - border control
31/08/2021 00:00

Please note that not all EU member states are on the list of Russian authorities for which entry restrictions are already in place again. Austria has been part of the list with entry restrictions since June 21, 2021. If you are not taking a direct flight from Austria, you should find out in advance whether the transit country is on the list for which entry restrictions apply. If not, this can lead to considerable difficulties when entering the country and can also result in travelers not being allowed to enter Russia.

Furthermore, all people living in Austria who are traveling to Russia and do not have Austrian citizenship are advised to carry their certificate of permanent residence or registration certificate or permanent residence card issued by the Austrian authorities with them when traveling to Russia in order to avoid problems at border control. A registration certificate is NOT sufficient!
