India e-Visa BUSINESS: Increase in consular fees

The Indian authorities inform that the consular fees for Business e-Visa will increase from USD 80.00 to USD 120.00 from 01/01/2026.

India: Longer processing time for e-visas

Good afternoon,

Due to the sharp increase in the number of applications for electronic visas (e-visas), the Indian authorities are currently experiencing longer processing times than usual. Applicants are therefore advised to submit their application early, at least 14 days in advance, especially for visas with a longer validity period.

Please bear this in mind when planning your trip.

The Arrival Card serves to speed up entry, but does not replace a visa. Please check whether an additional visa is required.

In the ÖVKG portal you can order an Arrival Card conveniently and easily for a fee.

Please also note country-specific deadlines, conditions and exceptions (e.g. for third-country nationals or holders of a residence permit).

Saudi Arabia- Consular Provider- technical problems with fingerprinting

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

We would like to inform you that the Saudi consular provider has repeatedly experienced technical problems with the fingerprinting process in recent days. In some cases, travelers therefore had to travel to Vienna a second time.

According to the Saudi embassy in Vienna, these are unfortunately not isolated cases, but a global problem that is being actively worked on to find a solution.

Please note that ÖVKG has no influence on these technical disruptions. However, we will endeavor to inform our customers as quickly as possible.

We recommend that you allow extra preparation time in case passengers need to travel to Vienna again.

CHINA- Introduction of an e-Arrival Card from 20.11.2025

We would like to inform you that China will introduce an e-Arrival Card on 20.11.2025.

Entry information and personal details are to be filled in on the website of the National Immigration Administration (NIA)

The aim of the Arrival Card is to facilitate faster entry.

The ÖVKG team will be happy to apply for the e-Arrival Card for you, for a fee.
