We would like to inform you that the following countries have introduced an electronic arrival card (e-Arrival Card)

The Arrival Card serves to speed up and simplify entry, but does not replace a visa. Please therefore check in good time whether an additional visa is required for your destination.

You can apply for your Arrival Card conveniently and easily via the ÖVKG portal for a fee.

Please also note the respective country-specific deadlines, entry requirements, conditions and exceptions (e.g. for third-country nationals or holders of a residence permit)

Isamic Feast of Sacrifice - Closing days of embassies of Muslim countries

Appointments at the US Consulate

Entry-exit system (EES) active at all Schengen external borders

The Entry-Exit System (EES) has been fully operational at all border crossings in the European Schengen area since Friday, 10.04.2026. The digital procedure applies to all travelers without EU citizenship.

The EES is an automated IT system that records the entries and exits of non-EU citizens in the Schengen area for a short-term stay of up to 90 days within a period of 180 days in one of the corresponding 29 European countries.

USA - Price changes B1 and B2 visas

The US Consulate informs you that the price for the B1 and B2 visa for the USA has changed. From now on the visa costs 199,05€ including shipping of the passport.
