Travelers who land at Vienna Airport and do not have a health certificate with them can only take advantage of the corona test carried out by Vienna Airport if they have a place of residence AND a residence permit for Austria.
Passengers arriving without a health certificate will be taken to quarantine immediately by the authorities. Passengers must take a corona test in the laboratory at the quarantine location. There may be longer waiting times here.
The Russian consulate in Vienna and the consular provider / submission office have announced that no visa applications will be accepted until further notice due to the current situation.
The mayor of Moscow has issued a decree according to which all travelers from China, South Korea, Iran, France, Germany, Spain, Great Britain, Norway, Switzerland and the USA must comply with a 14-day domestic quarantine. This list will be updated promptly if the situation in the respective countries changes. At present, Austria is not included in this list.

All existing visas (EVisa and visas issued at the consulate) are suspended until April 15, 2020 - this regulation applies to all travelers except diplomats, official visits with business passports, UN delegates and holders of work and project visas.

From March 13, 2020, entry into the United States by foreign nationals who have been in the Schengen area (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland) within 14 days of their planned departure to the USA will be restricted. March 2020 at 11.59 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time) is restricted. This measure will apply for 30 days.
