CHINA - additional documents required for submission with immediate effect

The Chinese consulate has announced that the following additional documents are now required for submitting a visa:

  • Company invitation from China with stamp
  • A copy of the last Chinese visa (if the last visa was in another passport, please also provide a copy of the other passport)
  • A copy of valid visas from other countries  (if the valid visa is in another passport, please also provide a copy of the other passport)

    • SOUTH KOREA - Quarantine exemption: Deadline extended until 18.02.2021

    The consulate of South Korea informs that the deadline for the non-issuance of quarantine exemptions has been extended until February 18, 2021, i.e. all those entering the country must go to a quarantine.

    SOUTH KOREA- News on medical certificate and IEC (Isolation Exemption Certificate)

    The embassy of South Korea in Vienna has announced the following changes, effective from 08 January 2021:

    - a medical certificate is no longer required to apply for a visa,

    - a negative PCR test that is not older than 72 hours must be available upon entry

    - an Isolation Exemption Certificate can no longer be issued in Europe due to the virus mutation. This regulation is initially valid until 28.01.2021 with the possibility of extension

    ÖVKG has kept the fees for visa processing constant for the last 3 years.

    We have accepted all index adjustments from our third-party service providers and other price adjustments to date without passing them on to our customers.

    Due to the current situation around COVID and the resulting increase in expenses, we are unfortunately forced to implement a price increase for the first time from January 1, 2021.

    Please find HERE the new price list for newly booked orders from 1.1.2021.
