According to the latest communication, the current 15-day visa-free entry option to the People's Republic of China for nationals until the end of 2025

As of 01.10.2024, it will be mandatory to take out travel insurance for trips to Zanzibar.
This compulsory travel insurance can only be taken out via an application platform provided by the authorities in Zanzibar.Regular travel insurance/supplementary insurance is not permitted.The ÖVKG will be happy to assist you in applying for compulsory insurance.Best regards
