The Thai authorities have announced that citizens of 93 countries will be VISA FREE for up to 60 days for tourism and short business trips.
In addition, people who want to stay in Thailand long-term (e.g. remote workers/digital nomads/freelancers) can apply for a so-called DTV Destination Thailand Visa. This is valid for 180 days and can be extended locally.
Please note that the new regulations have not yet officially come into force. The date of entry into force will be announced once the final procedures have been completed.
