The Consulate of Vietnam informs that due to the current situation, visas will not be issued to the following nationals:
ITALIA, CHINA, KOREA, JAPAN and IRANThe entry into the United States of foreign nationals who have been in China (excluding Hong Kong and Macau) within 14 days of their intended travel to the United States will be suspended beginning Sunday, February 2 at 5:00 p.m. EST. The full text of the announcement and the applicable exemptions (e.g. for green card holders, family members of US citizens, etc.) can be found here.
Affected travelers are advised to follow the latest announcements from US Customs and Border Protection.
Due to the possible spread of the coronavirus originating from China (Wuhan), health checks with temperature measurements have been set up at the airports for arriving passengers.

Persons who have stayed in China for 14 days before entering Vietnam will be denied entry from 05.02.2020. Direct flights to and from mainland China are temporarily suspended, with the exception of Hong Kong and Macau.

The Indian immigration authorities announced on 02.02.2020 that travelers who were in China after 15.01.2020 are currently not allowed to enter India due to the current situation (corona virus).
The Laotian immigration authorities also do not allow travelers arriving by land from China to enter Laos.
These restrictions are subject to change at any time and VKG will keep you informed should there be any updates.
