All persons traveling to China are required to take a Nucleic Acid Test (PCR) OR Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) for COVID-19 within 48 hours prior to boarding/departure. The negative test result must be entered on the Health Declaration Form. The airline is no longer obliged to check the negative test results. These are randomly checked upon entry. If irregularities occur or symptoms appear upon entry, a test will be carried out by Chinese customs.

Due to the massive volume of visa applications, the Chinese consular provider is currently experiencing a delay in the release of appointments (2-3 weeks) as well as longer waiting times for the submission of fingerprints.
Therefore, we kindly ask you to allow enough time for fingerprinting appointments as well as a general time buffer between application and departure for upcoming trips to China.
In addition, the consulate is currently very strict regarding the information in the visa application and requires that ALL items in the visa application are complete and correct. Incorrect and incomplete applications will result in rejection of the application.
